Hammer type punch places a 1/4" diameter hole 1/2" from the end of most 1" x .062" thick spring steel material. Punch features a built-in stop which positions the material for accurate hole placement. Punch needs to be placed on a hard surface (i.e. concrete floor, steel anvil, etc.) and struck lightly with a 3 to 4 lb. hammer.
