To check the level, insert the dipstick fully into the tank as shown in the product images.

• If no oil registers on the dipstick, the tank is 2 quarts low.
• If oil reaches the lower thick band, the tank is 1 quart low.
• The hash marks between the two thick bands serve as reference points to help you fine-tune the level.
