SafeCap 300 & 400 Series With Locking Shell

For use with smaller filler neck found on motorcycle and sprint car applications.

Installation Instructions:

1. With the vehicle at ambient temperature, carefully remove the old radiator cap.
2. inspect thje upper and lower sealing surfaces of the receiver neck for debris or any irregularities. Clean as necessary.
3. Remove the new cap from the packaging. Remove the cross pin and locking shell.
4. Install the cap onto the receiver in the standard radiator cap fashion, making sure the cap is rotated all the way to the stop position.
5. Re-install the locking shell and cross pin.

NOTE: The Meziere SafeCap has been designed to work with any receiver that has been manufactured to SAE specifications. However, in the automotive aftermarket there are several receivers that do not comply with this standard. If you are having trouble with the installation we do not recommend grinding or altering the cap in any way to fix these issues.

SAFETY TIP: Never change parts when the vehicle is hot. Never remove the coolant cap when the system is hot or under pressure, serious injuries may occur!
