A complete performance HEI dist upgrade for Chevy V8 engines. Easy-to-adjust mech advance with supplied springs and stop bushings. Vacuum advance canister for improved economy (can be locked out). CNC machined billet aluminum housing and billet alum base. Polished steel shaft is QPQ coated and guided by a sealed ball bearing. Advance plate and weights are fine blanked from chrome moly steel and QPQ coated for friction reduction. Mech advance assembly can easily be locked out. Advance weight pins are staked and tig welded to the plate. Nylon pads ensure smooth operation of the advance weights. Special oil tract improves lubrication to the distributor and cam gear. Supplied with a 7.5 amp, single spark, inductive discharge ignition module, MSD8364, and MSD HEI Coil, MSD8225 Full spark energy output to 9,000 RPM. Supplied with brass terminal dist cap and rotor CARB E.O. Approved.
