HD 36 Curved Vane Scalloped Rotor
Wilwood’s proprietary Spec37 iron alloy is widely known for its friction qualities and resistance to distortion, while scalloped rotors reduce rotating and unsprung weight without reducing brake torque. Two new 11.75” x 0.81” rotors cover many Sprint, Late Model and Modified racing applications, with an 8 x 7.00” inner bolt circle.
These scalloped 36 curved vane rotors weigh only eight pounds each. The Spec37 alloy was originally developed for armored vehicles to produce high friction and withstand high temperatures while maintaining structural integrity. Wilwood’s HD Series preparation includes full detail machining for smooth pad contact faces with the highest resistance to distortion, warping, cracking, and wear.
