How do I measure my racing hat size?
To determine your racing hat size, grab a soft, flexible measuring tape. Position one end of the tape about an eighth inch above your ears and circle the tape in a straight line going right through the middle of your forehead until it reaches your starting spot. Compare the measurement to the brand’s size chart. If you measure between sizes, choose the next size up.
What does a base layer do?
Whether you’re working in the pits or sitting in the driver's seat, a base layer can make a difference in how you feel. A base layer is lightweight, breathable clothing that’s worn closest to the skin; it should be tight but allow a good range of motion. When you sweat, the base layer draws moisture away from the skin where it can evaporate, keeping you dry and comfortable through both hot and cold weather.
