Description
When setting up your coil car using a spring smasher the most important measurement is your “true center to center.” Using Load sticks is the only way to accurately get this measurement. These are adjustable in 1/2” increments for coarse adjustments and then fine adjustments can be made with the left and right handed rod ends. Put your car on the scales, set ride heights with these load sticks and then take them to your spring smasher and use it to measure your C-C right on your smasher. After setting car up with your shocks and springs, getting your correct ride heights, you already know what your C-C measurement is. You can also use these to put your car in a “dynamic” state on the scales to look for clearance issues, bind issues, roll steers, and etc.
